In the next Pitch & Pintxo, held on December 3 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Ingenio Hall of the University of Deusto (Bilbao), we will have David Pistoni, CEO and Co-Founder of Zeleros. During the meeting, we will have the opportunity to know the history of this European start-up based in Spain, which seeks to develop a faster, scalable and more efficient transport system inspired by hyperloop.
With a team of more than 40 experts (engineers, researchers and business developers), more than 60 collaborators worldwide, various prototypes currently in operation and different key patents in progress, Zeleros proposes a unique vehicle technology, which reduces costs infrastructure (construction, operation and maintenance) and allows operating at safer pressures for passengers. Its objective is to develop, manufacture and sell hyperloop vehicles. Currently they develop the complete technology and collaborate with other key actors for the construction and operation of the lines. Your next step will be to build a unique two-kilometer test track to validate and optimize technologies at full scale.
Industrial Engineer from the UPV (Valencia) and the KTH (Stockholm). He began his entrepreneurial path within the University, as co-founder of two projects still in operation: Makers UPV (2013) and Hyperloop UPV (2015). After having won several international awards with these initiatives (awarded by NASA and SpaceX), he decided to take the company with his colleagues and current partners, creating Zeleros Hyperloop. He has recently received the award from the European Institute of Innovation and Technology, as one of the 5 outstanding innovators of 2019.
Zeleros Hyperloop is the Spanish company that develops hyperloop, already considered as “the fifth means of transport”. Its differential approach allows the reduction of infrastructure costs and safer pressures for passengers. Zeleros has a multitude of private and public support, involving more than 100 people and positioning itself as one of the leaders at European and global level. Zeleros currently prepares the construction of its own two-kilometer test track to demonstrate the system at high speed.
